I loved it from beginning to end. If you are interested in Nature, this is the book for you. And you just got to love Harry Parker and his flair for witticisms which would make Sam Spade or Philip Marlowe proud. There's a multi-generational aspect to the story that weaves the characters together and provides them with depth and legitimacy. But this book does a very good job of making clear how much that could have bought us in worthwhile pursuits and anyone can see how little it has bought us in Iraq. The book was not in as good of condition as I expected. By looking to Nature, we are reminded that we are not alone, no matter how difficult the journey might be. It explores why Christians thought and acted as they did.
