Maybe it was because the stories were so short that the charcters lacked depth and cohesion, but I've read other short stories by her that I loved. Although this book does have some good ideas, it was disappointing. Each story emphasizes faith and family. There are no titles just emotions. I wouldn't have read it. If a crime was committed, it would surely have passed the statute of limitations. Sorry this is so brief, but it is genuinely meant as an endorsement. I found the thoughts a bit stereotypical for a devotional. I can't wait to read more from this author.
