David Faupel, author of the forward to the book set the stage for this assessment, and was almost certainly correct in his assessment that this is perhaps the first comprehensive "Pentecostal theology" to be written. My 5-year-old daughter just loves these books. Yet as the author concludes: 'One of the few good reasons to want to go on existing is the curiosity, the pure curiosity to learn how all this will end: with a bang or with a whimper. I must say the title doesn't tell you the poem is included in the book itself, it at first gave me the impression this edition would more information about the poem, not the poem itself. All these are touched upon in a very good manner even though the book is only 96 pages in length (about one third of which are illustration). The narrator encounters a young salesman of scientific instruments in a picturesque neighborhood of Athens, who describes to him "what laws are" The narrator is astonished at the knowledge of the young salesman and goes back to the principles and laws put forward by the ancient Greek philosophers. How they did this and what they managed to achieve is the subject of this book. Almost ludicrous, but somehow the author manages to "draw" Nicole in a way that doesn't strain credibility to the breaking point. Highly recommend – also, it is very reasonably priced. I was highly satisfied with the Bible and was pleased that it arrived in such a timely manner.
